The length of the Murrad bike path in the Murau Wood Region is 45 km.

This particular section starts in Predlitz and runs along the bank of the Mur until Stadl an der Mur. In Stadl, you can cross the river on the wooden bridge (Mursteg) known as the Gate of Mur Valley. Once on the other side, you can bike all the way to Murau.

The town of Murau is ideal for taking a break. The medieval city centre will beg you to stay and take a look around. Visitors may choose from several excursion destinations such as the local brewery, the city museum, guided tours in the castle and so on. The bike path runs along the main road at the eastern border of the town until Triebendorf and then on the road to Frojach. After Frojach, you should turn to the right to find the path to Teufenbach and then Scheifling. Crossing the Mur once more you will eventually arrive to Unzmarkt and Judenburg.

You can take the narrow gauge railway (Murtalbahn) at any point and go back to the start at Saint Georgen ob Murau.
